Berria newspaper asked me to design a reusable water bottle. This commission arrived on february 2020, a month before the world stopped, so I changed the topic and as we didn’t know when the bottle would see the light I decided to paint a utopic world, where friends could go to the woods and collect flowers and mushrooms and be naked while Jacaranda’s flowers are raining above their heads. So I called the painting Udaberri berria, because berria means NEWS, but also NEW, and udaberria means SPRING but also NEW SUMMER, so It would be something like a NEW SPRING.
